Bollywood’s very new baby daddy is making headlines again. Ranbir Kapoor gets in full gear as he starts shooting for his next project. RK is pulling off a bearded and rugged look. As much as we are all excited to see Ranbir back on the big screen, this time he has done something which brings him on the first page of newspapers instead! Ranbir is walking around – hurling phones in public, well, sort of! Yes, you read that right! Many paparazzis have shared a video of Ranbir throwing away a fan’s phone far away.
Yesterday, Ranbir along with his entourage was leaving a studio, when a fan walked up to him asking for a selfie. Ranbir, who obliged as he usually does, suddenly lost his cool. The fan was really looking forward to their picture together but his phone seemed to malfunction – after which all hell broke loose. Ranbir kept his calm for a few seconds and then proceeded to grab the phone from the fan’s hand. He then chucked the fan’s phone behind, shocking every on-looker.
RK is trending on social media again after the video of the phone smashing went viral. While we have seen B-town celebrities often bickering with fans and the paparazzi, this was a little too hard to digest – as Ranbir is not one to throw a tantrum or a phone in this case like this! Is this an extension of his role? Did he actually forget to snap out of a character?
He hasn’t given any public statements relating to the incident. This has led to a lot of speculation regarding the way he reacted. It is not everyday that we see bollywood stars turn into Hulk at the slightest inconvenience! Whatever happened to the charming and chivalrous RK who patiently got through every single public appearance? Hopefully he is pondering over his actions and will soon reach out to make an statement, perhaps. It could just have been a fit of rage and nothing more! We are yet to hear from the fan who had his phone and his dream of a selfie shattered. Hopefully, this story has a sweet ending – but at the moment we can just wait to hear more! His fans are waiting for an explanation to get to the bottom of the debacle and put it behind them as soon as possible.
